Tekapo is a unique orchardgrass with a very low crown and a dense, prostrate growth habit. This provides ideal, ground level grazing conditions for livestock like sheep and horses. It's highly palatable with long, soft leaves, and also provides great digestibility and good feed value. This abundant producer can be grown on its own or combined with other grasses to make excellent hay or grazing pastures.
