Lassik is a Hard Red winter wheat that originated at the University of California, Davis. Bred for high grain yields and superior rust resistance, Lassik has produced outstanding results in the field, and our growers have come to expect great things from it. The three-year average yield is 3.24 tons/acre of grain.
Otis is a Hard White wheat that produces big grain yields and a large amount of biomass. Because of its tall and leafy structure, Otis gives growers the flexibility of taking the crop for either forage or grain, producing outstanding yields in any case. The four-year average yield is 2.76 tons/acre as grain and 18.4 tons/acre as silage.
Desert King HP is a high protein desert durum wheat developed by the University of California wheat breeding program to exhibit a 10% increase in protein concentration as compared to the original variety. This breakthrough variety combines a high yield potential, good pasta quality, and resistance to major wheat pathogens present in California. This fast maturing wheat accelerates harvesting by 5-8 days when compared with the original Desert King, presenting a higher quality grain on a quicker timeline.
UC Central Red (PVP) is a semidwarf Hard Red Spring (HRS) wheat variety with a high-yield potential, resistance to lodging and diseases and excellent breadmaking quality.
